R&D History

Starting from 2007, Chairperson Jia Fuyin led the technical team to establish a project for research and development on the technical problems of mine shaft lifting wire rope replacement.
In 2009, a breakthrough invention was proposed - the technology of non-destructive clamping linear conveying wire rope with double stepless chains, which revolutionized the traditional rope change concept.

In 2012, after 6 years of tackling difficulties, the world's first double stepless chain linear conveying wire rope change vehicle was successfully developed, and successfully tried in Panyi Mine of Huainan Mining Group, and passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements organized by the State Administration of Work Supervision. It has reached the international leading level, filled the domestic gap, and realized the idea of machinery replacing labor.

After the successful development of the trial type (YHC-A) rope change vehicle, in order to adapt to different working conditions of vertical shaft hoisting system, the application and improvement work are carried out in different mines. The Safe & Applicable (YHC-B)(2nd generation) rope changer and the Safe & Intelligent (SMART)(3rd generation) rope changer have been designed and completed successively.
And innovate the technology in the rope change process to achieve safe, efficient and no damage to the rope. It is widely used in the construction of wire rope replacement in mines, and has been widely reported by the People's Daily, Xinhua Daily, China Coal News and other medias.
SMART(3rd generation) intelligent rope change vehicles have been successfully applied in more than 1,000 mines, achieving a new record of 4 ropes in a kilometer-deep well in about 10 hours, and 6 ropes in about 12 hours to complete the head rope replacement.
Among them, the deepest mine in Asia is Yunnan Huize Lead-Zinc Mine (well depth 1526m), Shaanxi Binchang Mining Mengcun Coal Mine (rope diameter 62mm) are all used, with good results, creating huge economic and social benefits for the mine.

2007

Set up a team to officially start the research and development of vertical shaft hoisting wire rope replacement technology and equipment.

2009

The first double stepless chain non-destructive clamping linear conveying wire rope technology, innovating the traditional rope change concept.

2012

Launched the world's first double stepless chain linear conveying wire rope change vehicle, and successfully tried it in Pan Yi Mine of Huainan Mining Group, opening a new era of automatic rope change.
Through the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements organized by the State Administration of Work Supervision, the technology has reached the international leading level and filled the domestic gap.

2014

Won the National Key New Product Certificate, the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of China Coal Industry Association, and the first prize of the 6th Safety Production Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of the State Administration of Work Safety.

2016

Won the key promotion and application of new technologies and new products in Jiangsu Province, and the first (set) of major equipment products in Jiangsu Province.

2017

Launched the second generation of safe and applicable (YHC-B) rope change vehicle, and quickly entered the large-scale promotion and application.
On September 10, "People's Daily" 02 edition news "patron saint of high-tech miners" reported on the Sansen rope change vehicle.

2018

For the first time to change the tope in the deepest mine in Asia - Yunnan Huize Lead-Zinc Mine (well depth 1526m, single rope weight 23t), it takes at least 180 hours to change the rope manually and only 36 hours by the rope change vehicle.
On January 10, "Xinhua Daily" 06 edition of the economy "Safety Industry, Xintiandi Looking forward to new actions" reported on the Sansen rope change vehicle.

2019

The third-generation safety intelligent (SMART) rope change vehicle has been newly upgraded to realize the safety and efficiency of the whole rope change process.
On November 30, "Is it difficult to change the rope underground? Robots come to help!" in the Science and Education of the 04th edition of China Coal News carried out a special report on the Sansen Intelligent rope change Vehicle.

2020

Successfully ed into the National Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau's "Promotion Catalogue of Advanced Applicable Technology and Equipment for Coal Mine Safety Production (Fourth Batch) ".
The first time to replace the thickest wire rope in China - Mengcun Coal Mine of Shaanxi Coal Binchang Company (rope diameter 62mm). Traditionally takes 56 hours to manually change the rope. Only takes 18 hours by the rope change vehicle.

2022

The first SMART-W flat-tail rope change vehicle in China was successfully applied in Chiyu Coal Mine of Shanxi Gemdale Company

Advantages of rope change vehicle

High security

All operations are at the wellhead, with less manpower and manual assistance for mechanical operations; constant tension synchronous retraction and release, no further request for hoisting system tension difference.
