From March 9 to 10, the 2023 Coal industry science and technology Work Symposium was held in Kunming.Wang Xianzheng, former President of China National Coal Association and director of Coal Industry Technical Committee; CAI Jianjun, Secretary of Party Group and director of Yunnan Bureau of State Administration of Mine Safety; Liu Feng, Vice President of China National Coal Association and chairman of China Coal Society; Xie Heping, Huang Qingxue, Jin Zhixin, academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering; From the State Energy Group, China Coal Energy Group, China Huaneng Group, China Huadian Group, China Coal Science & Industry Group, Shaanxi Coal Chemical Industry Group, Shandong Energy Group, Jinneng Holding Group, Shanxi Coking Coal Group, Huaibei Mining Group, Henan Energy Group, Kailuan Group, Xuzhou Mining Group and other coal production enterprises, Experts and representatives from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), China University of Mining and Technology, Chongqing University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Xi 'an University of Science and Technology, Hunan University of Science and Technology and other institutions of higher learning, as well as high-tech enterprises attended the meeting.The meeting was presided over by Zhang Jianming, deputy director of the science and Technology development Department of the China National Coal Association.
CAI Jianjun delivered a warm speech, introducing Yunnan's coal production situation and stable and good mine safety production situation, and extended congratulations on the convening of the meeting.
Liu Feng delivered a report entitled "Promoting China's Modernization with High-quality Coal Development -- Accelerating the Realization of Coal's Self-reliance in High-level Science and Technology".The historical achievements of scientific and technological innovation in the industry in the past ten years were reviewed, and it was pointed out that the workers of coal science and technology should bear in mind two overall situations, accurately grasp the requirements of The Times of scientific and technological innovation in coal, and put forward three aspects: strategic planning, honest innovation, and problem orientation (i.e. "idea-system-technology"), to speed up the realization of self-reliance and self-improvement of high-level science and technology in the industry.
Academician Xie Heping delivered a report entitled "Exploration on Self-reliance and Self-improvement of High-level Science and Technology in Energy and Mining".The paper introduced the research and exploration of four original technologies, namely, seawater hydrogen production, geothermal power generation, coal zero-carbon emission power generation, deep earth, deep sea and deep space high fidelity coring, which provided a model and demonstration for the realization of high level science and technology self-reliance and self-improvement, and also shared the planning and conception of high level science and technology self-reliance and self-improvement exploration in energy and mining.
